Terms & Conditions
By accepting our services the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
WHEREAS Drum Express has undertaken to render the following service to the client, viz. to deliver one or more metal drums at the client’s actual address, in order for the latter to fill the drum as stipulated under paragraph 4 (contents); and to empty said drum onto a truck whereafter returning it to the client’s actual residential address as stipulated under paragraph 3 (positioning and removal).
AND WHEREAS the client wishes to make use of the abovementioned service:
1. Payments
- Payments must be made in advance via cash, bank deposit, or EFT by the 7th of each month.
- Late payments will incur a R100.00 re-activation fee.
2. Tariff
- Charges apply even if the drum is partially full or empty.
- Invoices and receipts are available on request.
- Tariffs are reviewed annually in March.
3. Positioning and Removal
- Place drums close to the road for easy access.
- Ensure free access for collection by Drum Express staff.
- Protect staff from dangerous animals on the premises.
- Only garden refuse is permitted.
- Weekly removals are done, though not necessarily on the same day.
- Drum Express is not liable for any damage or loss during servicing.
- Service continues on public holidays unless notified otherwise.
- No discounts apply during the annual two-week shutdown in December/January.
4. Contents
- Drums may contain grass, leaves, branches, and garden refuse.
- Refuse must be cut into manageable sizes.
- No stones, sand, soil, cement, or building rubble allowed.
- Burning refuse in drums is prohibited.
- Drum Express is not responsible for items placed in, on, or next to the drums.
- No compensation is given for unused capacity in drums.
5. General
- Drums remain the property of Drum Express and must not be removed by others.
- Only drums
